This report is a public disclosure of the quality of care provided by hospitals and surgeons performing coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery in California during 2007 and 2008. It is the sixth heart bypass surgery report developed by the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) covering all of California's 122 state licensed hospitals where this procedure is performed and is the third report to detail results for all 279 responsible surgeons who performed the surgery.
