California's Focal Point for Rural Health - Home
The Rural Health Services Unit (RHSU) works to strengthen healthcare systems in rural communities of California and provides a focal point for discussion of rural health issues within the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD). The RHSU provides useful resources for rural healthcare providers and the public. In addition, the RHSU serves as a source of information regarding health workforce opportunities for rural areas of California.

HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAMS ONLINE SEARCH TOOL-- The Health Education Programs Online Search Tool is a new application that allows users to identify schools that offer health professions education/training programs in California. This tool, from the Office of Statewide Health Planning & Development (OSHPD), allows anyone to depict health professions education/training opportunities on a map and in a listing. It is not required to log in or sign up. This tool increases the opportunity for students, parents, and others to personally research health professions, related training locations, and resources. The most recent data from the California Postsecondary Education Commission (CPEC) is used to ensure accuracy. Try it today!
