Sample screen

The Submission Status page is always the first page displayed after you log on and create a reporting profile.

The Report Status will vary depending on the type of submission and the submission result:

  • No submission has been made
  • [File or Records or Corrections] Submitted - Not Processed
  • [File or Records or Corrections] Submitted - Being Processed
  • Data Rejected
  • Below ETL - Submit as Formal by Due Date
The Below ETL Status appears only for test submissions. It indicates that your data passed all edit programs and that you can now submit data formally.

    *  If your data is “Below ETL,” you do not need to browse & attach to make a file submission. Instead, you just need to confirm that the data OSHPD already has in MIRCal is the data that you want to formally submit. To confirm this, click Submit Corrections, and then complete the process for submitting corrections, making sure to select the “formal” submission type. We'll walk you through this process when we discuss correcting errors in Lesson 4.
  • Data Approved
The Data Approved Status appears only for formal submissions. It indicates that your data passed all edit programs. No further action is required by your facility for this data type and report period.

The table under Report Status provides submission information for the current reporting profile:

  • Whether data was last submitted as a test or formal submission
  • The date of the last submission
  • The user name of the person who made the last submission
  • The total number of test submissions made under the current reporting profile
  • The total number of formal submissions made under the current reporting profile
  • The number of records in the last submission

In the example screen, Jane's data has been rejected. Before she can correct her data, she needs to determine why it was rejected. To do that, she'll go to the Main Error Summary page.

To continue, under Results in the Main Menu, click Main Error Summary.
